Wow! Queen Elizabeth Chose the Most Unexpected Colour For the Royal Wedding

Leave it to Queen Elizabeth II to wear the most unexpected colour to the royal wedding. It was easy to spot the royal as she made her way to the church for the wedding in a burgundy car. The British monarch chose a lime green flared Stewart Parvin dress. The bright ensemble featured a purple floral pattern which she paired with a coordinating silk tweed coat.

The Queen accessorised her eye-catching wedding guest dress with a matching Angela Kelly hat that came in the same lime green hue. Her hat featured a featured a purple flower on its brim and was a custom creation by Angela Kelly, the Queen's official dressmaker.
