Rachel Brosnahan is honouring her late aunt Kate Spade in a new campaign. On Wednesday, it was announced that the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress is the face of the Spring campaign for Frances Valentine, Kate's brand that she launched in 2016. The news comes less than one year after Kate's death at age 55, and it was the perfect opportunity for the actress.

"When you lose someone you love, you search for boundless ways to keep their memory alive," Rachel told People. "This felt like a way to do that through her beautiful creations and an opportunity to share them with all of those who her work meant so much to." But Rachel isn't the only part of the collection that's part of Kate's legacy — the site reports that the collection honours "the late designer's signature colourful aesthetic and vision for spreading joy through vibrant fashion designs."

"I think it's more meaningful than any other campaign we've done because it's [Rachel], and she was so close to Katy," Elyce Arons, CEO of Frances Valentine, told the site. "I know it would really make Katy smile." Following Kate's death, Rachel reflected on her aunt's life in an Instagram post, writing, "She had a light that words can't capture but touched everyone she came into contact with. She was exceedingly kind, beautifully sensitive, insanely talented, funny as heck, and one of the most generous people I have ever known. She was effervescent."
