Richard Quinn, London Fashion Week
Richard Quinn transformed Liberty London from tourist hot spot to high-fashion haunt on Saturday. The St Martins graduate, who reserved an entire floor of the iconic store for his London Fashion Week show, presented a set of prints unlike anything we've ever seen before. Once-familiar florals were reinvented, thrown over velvet bodysuits and paired with power dressing, sharp shoulders, and platforms. Electric brights fought for limelight against Liberty-embroidered veils, plus the attitude necessary to sport such attire. One thing's for certain, Quinn has no time for a patchwork quilt and is able to turn fudge tin packaging into fierceness.
