Sophia Webster's London Fashion Week presentations have become famous for whimsical, pretty accessories with a sense of humour. This season, the designers showed a collection titled "Away With the Fairies," staged on models posed within ornate gilt frames, bringing to mind Cicely Mary Barker's flower fairies (there were even some junior fairies sporting Webster's children's collection). The designer's famous butterfly heels got a holographic makeover, and her speech-bubble bags sported sweet phrases like "I'll bring you flowers" and "pretty to see, hard to catch." The '70s inspired many shapes, with everyone stopping to snap one pair of chunky wooden platform wedges with a fairy sat in the Perspex heel. There were also rose gold strappy sandals, rainbow ruffles, and knee-high, crystal-encrusted sandals that are crying out for a red carpet moment. It was ethereal with a touch of fun, and we just know these fairy-tale designs are going to fly off the shelves (pun definitely intended)!
