Last year, Stella McCartney made her childrenswear debut with a capsule collection for Gap Kids. The line was an enormous success as even women tried to squeeze in to the pieces. It's no surprised then that today Stella has announced plans to launch her own childrenswear label.
A capsule collection will be available in time for Christmas, with a full collection launching for Spring in February. Stella, who has four children herself, commented,
"I feel like all the timeless children’s wear is reserved for the expensive brands and that did not sit well with me. Kids and parents, aunts, uncles, friends should all be able to have access to Stella McCartney Kids clothes."
The pieces will be available online (from stellamccartneykids.com) and will ship to 200 different countries. Prices will start from 19 euros for a baby's t-shirt and go up to 150 euros for a coat. I can't wait to see what she designs! Are you excited for this expansion of the brand?
