This weeks fashion lesson surrounds the popular design of houndstooth. The print or fabric is popular this season appearing at Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and L.A.M.B.
It is defined as, "A fabric, usually wool, with distinctive broken checks that resemble pinwheels or, as the name implies, the jagged back teeth of a hound. Once a popular fabric for hunting clothes, houndstooth is now a menswear staple used in suits and coats. Also known as a four-and-four check."
