The most traditional of checks has had a face lift for Autumn/Winter.
Part punk, part country house – tartan was all over the runway, with the girls wearing oversize blazers, shift dresses and even high-waist trousers, in various types of plaid.
Roberto Cavalli, in his Just Cavalli collection, showed clashing checks, worn with leopard print tights, whilst at D&G, tartan got the girlie treatment with ruffles and pleating.
On the catwalk is one thing, but how does this look translate to real life? Will you be clashing your tartan prints next season?
