If there's one thing we were surprised to find out about Taylor Swift's 2018 [1], it was that she mostly avoided the spotlight, save for her onstage appearances during the Reputation tour [2] and her empowering posts about her political views [3]. Nevertheless, Taylor is keeping her relationship with Joe Alwyn under wraps [4], brilliantly avoiding the paparazzi on date night, save for one or two exceptions [5].
That said, the star celebrated a few major moments on the red carpet, won some trophies — namely at the American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards — and sported some street style accessories to drive her fans crazy (remember the Kate Spade snake backpack [6]?).
