The success of Victoria Beckham's dress line has driven the celebrity designer to take her denim and eyewear brands in house. She has been speaking to WWD about her fashion career explaining, "Who is my competition?’ I’m my competition. I want to do better next season than I did this season. And I’m sure the season after that I will want to beat myself again."
Sources expect her denim, dresses and sunglasses to rack up sales of over $7.5 million next year, but Victoria insists she doesn't want to rush anything. “It’s about doing things gradually and building the brand in a strategic way. I really am a perfectionist, and I don’t want to rush anything. It’s not just about putting my name on a product and getting it out there."
