One of the easiest ways to freshen up your wardrobe for Summer is trying out the season's biggest colour trends. For 2019, yellow was one of the most popular colours to go down designer runways (see Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, and Sies Marjan for a few of my favourites from New York Fashion Week) from soft shades of banana and lemon to saturated tones like butter and mango.
If you're anything like me, ultra-bright outfits can feel intimidating, but I've found Summer to always be the best time to experiment with a colorful look — there's something about the season's warm weather and relaxed attitude that makes me feel so much more playful than usual. With vibrant shades from neon green to highlighter pink and tangy tangerine trending big time, yellow feels the most wearable to me, especially warmer tones that flatter a range of complexions.
