Alexander Wang has issued a call to get creative. The designer recently announced the launch of a new contest encourageing Instagram users to customise classic white t-shirts using supplies at home. Chosen by May 1, the winner will then receive a personalized care package valued at $1,000!
The contest comes shortly after Alexander and Behati Prinsloo made their own edgy t-shirts [1] using scissors and safety pins during an Instagram Live over the weekend. "Now that you've seen a few tricks from us, we'd like to see what you can do at home," Alexander said in a video introducing the contest [2]. To enter, users will need to simply share a mirror selfie wearing their "design," tag the official Alexander Wang account [3], and include #WangWhiteTee and #WangFromHome in the caption.
In addition to offering this fun fashion activity to keep his followers entertained, Alexander also previously launched an online archival shop [4] to benefit the World Health Organisation and its efforts during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
