Episode four of Making the Cut is here, and we finally get those cliffhanger results from the previous challenge. The judges were deciding if they should keep Troy Hul Arnold or not after his teammate, Joshua Hupper, took himself out of the competition. The critique was that the fabrics and colours totally clashed in this duo's designs. The verdict is that the judges want to get to know Arnold more, so he is saved.

Tim Gunn then gathers the contestants to warn them that they need to fight hard. For this week's challenge, the designers must create looks with fabrics used in past episodes, and they only have seven hours to make them. That means that each person's sewing skills will be put to the test unlike ever before.

For this fast-paced challenge, Tim Gunn is only doing quick check-ins for each designer, since there's not much time to drastically change any looks. Gunn is thrilled with all of the promise in the room, but there is definitely a lot of stress as everyone rushes to complete their creations.

The Verdict

This week's runway show takes place right in the atelier where the contestants have been working. There's many stellar designs, but in the end, the judges love Jonny Cota's striped midi dress the best — he wins the challenge! Troy Hul Arnold is once again called before the judges to discuss his look, which is poorly constructed. Ultimately, he's sent home. Will Riddle is also sent home after the judges question his refinement and taste level.

Heidi Klum and Gunn then end the show on a positive note, announcing that designers will be jetting off to Tokyo for the next leg of the competition. We can't wait!
