The actor appeared on the show to promote her upcoming film "Blonde [3]", the first Netflix show to receive an 18 rating [4], with de Armas playing a fictional version of Marilyn Monroe [5]. She arrived at the talk show wearing an eye-catching navy-grey sequin three-piece suit by Brunello Cucinelli. Styled by Samantha McMillen [6], the entire ensemble offered a welcome glow up of the tailoring trend, making it the perfect desk-to-dance-floor look.

The double-breasted blazer was left unbuttoned for a more relaxed feel, skimming over the more streamlined waistcoat underneath and ending at her hips to allow the wide-leg trousers to fall effortlessly to the floor. She teamed the suit with simple black pointed court shoes, Anita Ko diamond earrings and a Logan Hollowell tennis necklace. Scooping her hair in a voluminous high ponytail, de Armas wore her signature black eyeliner flick and added a pop of bright-pink lipstick to lift the look.
