Bebe Rexha is vocal when it comes to body positivity, and we stan. The singer, who teamed up with designer Sherri Hill during New York Fashion Week, put on an amazing live performance during the Spring / Summer 2020 show. Before she hit the runway, we got a moment to chat with the singer where we got to ask her more on the issue.

ICYMI, back in January, the 29-year-old singer revealed via social media that, in her search for the perfect dress to wear to the 2019 Grammy Awards, many designers refused to dress her because of her size. Bebe, who is a size eight, sounded off about the situation in a video that has since gone viral on Instagram and Twitter. "You're saying all the women in the world that are a size eight and up are not beautiful and that they cannot wear your dresses," she said, addressing the unnamed designers. "So, to all the people who said I'm thick and I can't wear your dress, f*ck you. I don't want to wear your f*cking dresses."

We chatted with the singer about the lack of inclusivity in the industry and asked if anyone from the fashion community has since voiced their support. "Oh my god, Jeremy Scott, Sherri has been incredible, Christian Siriano, Karl Lagerfeld, may he rest in peace. He sent me some stuff right before he passed away so that was really special to me. It's just the overall love from the fashion community. That's how I found out who my real cheerleaders are and it'll forever mean the world to me," Bebe told us.
