If we can't spend the entire season cuddled up underneath our favourite blanket, wearing a teddy coat is the next best thing. With its fuzzy fabric, oversize fit, and exaggerated collar and pockets, this coat is the ultimate cosy way to to keep wrapped up this Autumn. While it might feel second nature to throw it over other comfy, cuddly pieces, we love the idea of contrasting it with elegant and elevated pieces underneath, like a slip dress and polished boots.

For transitional temperatures, you can never go wrong with a leather-look jacket. But this season, you don't want just any leather jacket — you want a mock croc one. Faux-croc textures are a major trend and one that injects your look with a cool-girl vibe. Your first inclination might be to go edgy, but this jacket works just as well with more sophisticated pieces, like tailored wide-leg trousers and strappy heels.

A trench coat is a forever favourite and one you'll wear for seasons and years to come.
