In an unexpected move for the famously daring dresser, Billie arrived at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards wearing her finest autumn separates: a knit cowl-neck jumper, midi-length skirt, and what appears to be leg warmers over platform trainers. She completed the unapologetically cosy look with silver jewellery by David Yurman.
Amid a throng of vintage gowns and super cropped separates, we'd be willing to bet that Billie was the most comfortable person in attendance. And though there's a lot to appreciate about every kind of red carpet outfit, we do appreciate one that can also work for a Starbucks run or day spent apple picking. (#JustAutumnThings, you know?)
