Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham Surprise the Crowd as They Walk the Vogue World Runway
New York Fashion Week came alive on 12 Sept. as Vogue World stormed the streets. In celebration of the iconic brand's 130th anniversary, Vogue presented a live editorial fashion show and street fair. And who was that we spotted on the runway? It's only Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham!
The lovebirds took to the jubilant catwalk arm in arm as the couple laughed and stared lovingly into each other's eyes. Brooklyn was dressed in a varsity jacket, white T-shirt, and relaxed cut light-wash jeans, while his wife, Nicola, wore a simple white tank top, orange leather trousers, and black platform boots as her newly brunette hair was left blowing in the breeze. The pair only had eyes for each other as they were surrounded by the who's who of the fashion world.
Vogue World was a glorious celebration of diversity, with a catwalk that reflected the "new attitudes, personalities and influences that are shaping fashion today". The runway included a range of celebrities and models wearing looks from the autumn/winter 2022 collections, from Dior to Gucci and many more in between.
Tennis legend Serena Williams opened the show wearing a stunning custom Balenciaga silver maxi dress and cape, followed by children dressed in tennis whites as she leads the next generation of iconic women. Supermodels Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Helena Christensen walked the wonderfully diverse catwalk alongside people of all sizes and identities. There was even a section with dogs!
While the mix of celebrities in attendance included Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Eliie Goulding, and Jared Leto, fans did not expect the Peltz Beckhams to be taking part in the show itself. The couple have a close affiliation with Vogue, after the magazine covered their star-studded wedding in April 2022. Nicola wore a stunning Valentino gown for the big day, which is alleged to have caused a rift between her and Brooklyn's mum, fashion designer Victoria, although Brooklyn denied the feud rumours in a recent Variety interview.
