Some friends get each other birthday cards, others go halfsies on the dinner bill, but when you're Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, presents for your friends look a tad bit different (read: their price tags have a few extra commas). Fresh off the success of the female rappers' collaboration, Cardi surprised Megan with a custom Hermès Birkin bag, and it's safe to say Megan loved it. "My manager just walked in and said cardi sent you something 😭😭😭😭 not the birkinnnnnnnn 😭😭😭 thank you frennn omg I can't believe you 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 I wonder what I'm gonna get her 😈😈😈 @iamcardib," the Houston-raised rapper wrote alongside a video of the bag.
The front of the orange purse has a hand painted drawing of Megan from the "WAP" music video wearing an animal print Zigman corset standing next to a white tiger. On the back of the purse, the iconic "Be Someone" graffiti that hangs over Interstate 45 in Houston was recreated in a colourful visual. There are also multicolored dollar signs and hearts on the sides of the purse, as well as a note from Cardi painted on the bottom. "Thank you Meg, really appreciate you!"
This is one incredible present! The surprise came just one day after it was announced that "WAP" shattered streaming records with 93 million US streams in its opening week. The catchy song made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 1 and was the first female rap collaboration in history to debut at No. 1.
