Even though Fashion Month looks a little different [1] this season, we still got a glimpse of the spring 2021 collections [2] designers will be releasing, and the outlook is optimistic — especially when it comes to colours. While shades like mustard, camel, and deep jewel tones [3] scream fall, the dark clouds seem to lift come spring. We're seeing sage make the seasonal crossover — there are already so many pieces available to shop in this fresh tint of green, which is more serene than olive, but still pretty subdued — but powder blue and coral balance it out on either side.
At Burberry [4], we saw a blue so light, it could almost be mistaken for white, though Tom Ford brought texture to the tone, reminding us of a clear day with not a cloud in the sky. You can either shop Cinq à Sept's more delicate shade of coral, or take a more maximal approach in Christian Siriano's gingham co-ords [5], inspired by Clueless.
