Cutouts were a popular choice at Mônot's spring 2023 runway show, the fashion label founded by Eli Mizrahi. And Doja Cat, whose makeup might have overshadowed her look, was hard to miss in the front row. She wore blue and white face paint teamed with a red lip, and donned a bandage dress with striking chest and midsection openings. The same goes for Normani, whose vibrant red gown featuring two side cutouts and riveting high slits, adorned with bows, completely met the moment.

Dove Cameron was also a VIP guest in attendance. Embracing the soft side of her personal style, the "Breakfast" singer arrived in a draped crop top that boasted an asymmetric silhouette, side cutouts, and a draped neckline falling into a floor-sweeping train. Cameron contrasted the brand's triangle train top with white wide-leg trousers, and accessorised with two layers of gold necklaces, round black frames, and a top-handle bag.

The multi-hyphenate star posed with Ariana DeBose, who also made a sharp entrance. She wore a black blazer minidress that featured an asymmetrical cutout at the front, exposing a bandeau bra. With its padded shoulders and boxy silhouette, the look exuded powerful sophistication, and was made even more alluring with a slit on the left side. DeBose remained committed to the colour theme, adding a boxy black top-handle bag, sheer tights, pointy heels, and dangling earrings as finishing touches.

The stars' looks were enticing previews of what was to come on the catwalk. Models paraded in sinuous draped dresses, laser-cut bra tops, and thigh-high slit skirts. The show marked the brand's foray into swimwear, with minimalist black pieces making an appearance. There was also an obvious focus on denim, proposing evening takes on the timeless textile. Leather, too, was incorporated throughout, in the form of opera gloves, strapless tops, and suiting separates. Mizrahi stayed true to his classic minimalist aesthetic, unveiling exciting new ways to style sultry cutouts.
