Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion made quite the splash at the 2022 Grammys on Sunday evening. The duo, who recently released "Sweetest Pie" together, stepped onto the stage wearing matching black ensembles to present the award for best new artist to Olivia Rodrigo. The talented pair dressed in identical Versace outfits consisting of slip dresses layered over patent leather trousers. Though Lipa and Megan wore matching gold chain necklaces and an assortment of Versace rings and bracelets, the "Levitating" singer wore her jewellery over patent leather opera gloves, a popular trend of the night.
Re-creating the iconic moment between Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston at the 1998 VMAs, the presenters joked about stealing each other's looks until they were interrupted by Donatella Versace herself for some styling assistance. "These are my girls," the designer said, as she ripped off fabric from each look to change up their outfits. Over two decades ago, Carey and Houston made light of their alleged feud at the time by wearing the same brown strappy dress to present an award.
Earlier in the night, Megan wore a sexy leopard-pattern Roberto Cavalli dress on the red carpet, featuring a clashing zebra print on the interior lining of the high-slit gown.
