Dua Lipa's Sheer Prada Dress on the July 2022 Vogue Cover

Dua Lipa's evolution from a performer to full-fledged entrepreneur is highlighted in her July 2022 Vogue cover, which she graced in a look from the Prada fall 2022 collection titled "The Ideology of Prada." The collaborative product of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the outfit consists of a grey embroidered sheer dress marked with Prada's triangle logo and a white tank top and black shorts underneath. Lipa posed barefoot on a chair, displaying a low bun parted in the middle and soft glam makeup contrasted with metallic eyeshadow. She wore no jewellery, presenting a somewhat pared-down version of her eccentric style.

"I've always had this anger toward the patriarchy. I just never liked boys telling me what to do."

The 26-year-old star sat for a barbecue meal with Vogue writer Jen Wang in Texas, one of the many stops of her "Future Nostalgia" Tour in the US, for which she adopted lingerie-style and sheer catsuits as uniform. Lipa spoke about her dedication to music, her upbringing in the tight-knit Kosovar community, and embarking on the next chapter in her life in which she continues to tell the stories of global creatives and activists through her subscription newsletter called "Service95" and her podcast named "At Your Service." She is doing things her way, having finally reached the stage where she is no longer afraid to claim her power. "I've always had this anger toward the patriarchy," she said. "I just never liked boys telling me what to do."

Throughout the story, Lipa dons a series of attention-worthy looks, including a lightweight linen pantsuit by Chloé, a shredded Proenza Schouler maxi dress, a beaded Chanel dress layered over a white tank, and a sequin-covered and feather-embellished asymmetrical red gown by Conner Ives. "I'm so grateful to have this cover to remind me of my most transformative year so far, where I feel I have moved and changed tremendously on a personal level," the singer captioned her announcement post. "Feeling stronger in myself, proud of the journey it took to get me here and grateful for all the support I've received along the way."
