Anwar Hadid brought Dua Lipa out in New York City for a day with his family dedicated to celebrating sister Bella's 23rd birthday. The couple made things official publicly at the Marc Jacobs show during New York Fashion Week, for which they actually wore matching neon manicures. But if you don't think that's true love, maybe you'll agree with me that their latest style move definitely is. While Dua's charcoal, high-waisted denim, tucked snuggly into her sneaker boots, was initially complemented by a cropped sky-blue, wrap-effect blazer, she must've gotten cold, because Anwar gladly gave up his Balenciaga cocoon bomber (which retails for over $2K, btw) to his SO for a walk down the street.
Even though I appreciated Dua's original look, complete with a patent Prada bucket bag, I kind of like the oversize fit of this checked coat on her even more. Together, Dua and Anwar look very '90s grunge, what with Anwar in his beaten-up Converse and zip-up and Bella in her lace-up stompers. I'm not just saying I want to be wearing any old oversize puffer, but if my boyfriend happens to pick up some Balenciaga outerwear on the way home from work, I'd gladly share it with him. That's all I'm saying — I swear!
