While the anticipation for autumn is quickly rising, there are some of us who are enjoying every last bit of summer until 21 Sept. — model Emily Ratajkowski included. On 20 Aug., she offered us a glimpse at what seems to be a swimwear collection full of the tiniest thongkinis [3] in a mini Instagram photo dump [4] as she posed barefoot in her well-lit kitchen. Like other celebrities, including Rita Ora and Kendall Jenner, Ratajkowski embraced the popular trend in a multicoloured two-piece bikini that featured a traditional triangle halterneck top and a high-cut thong bottom in the shade Foguinho, from her coveted swimwear brand, Inamorata [5]. As she played carefree with her free-flowing, warm red hair, the "My Body" author went with a natural face free of makeup and accessorised with a long turquoise pendant necklace that was wrapped multiple times around her neck.
The 32 year-old's latest outfit continues her unique streak for sporting the most stylish bikinis indoors. Earlier this month, she took to her social media with a similar dump that showed off her white, crisscross ruched bikini [6] as she laid on her living room rug. She's also rocked the thong silhouette with a black bra and high-cut crisscross bottom in her recent Victoria's Secret debut [7] as a star in The Icon by Victoria's Secret collection campaign.
Ratajkowski is known for boundary-pushing stylish moments. Celebrated for her effortless street style, she created her own hip cutouts with an orange plunging bodysuit and low-rise black miniskirt [8], and showed off some side boob in a slinky, backless newspaper dress by Miaou [9] while out in New York City on multiple occasions. The "High Low" podcast host has also embraced other sultry pieces including the dominating naked dress trend [10], sheer fishnet dresses [11], and the plunging Julien Macdonald dress [12] that featured edgy hip cutouts.
