Emma Stone's appearance at the Cruella premiere was one big homage to the wickedly chic villain. For the Los Angeles red carpet event on 18 May, the actress, who welcomed her first child earlier this year in March, wore a Louis Vuitton outfit in Cruella de Vil's signature colours of black, white, and red.
Styled by Petra Flannery, the look consisted of a black suit with chain-link details, a white pussy-bow blouse, black pointed-toe pumps, a bright red box clutch, dangly earrings, and a dagger pin. Whereas viewers are used to seeing the character in a black dress and big (Dalmatian) fur coat, Emma's outfit is a more modern take, much like the prequel movie, which shows Cruella as an aspiring fashion designer not yet jaded.
