The POPSUGAR Editors Winter Wish List Has Everything You Need to Keep Cosy

Winter is coming very very quickly (yeah, we're as shocked as you are), so we've started curating our cosy weather wardrobe to give you some inspiration for the month ahead. Despite the chilly temperatures, we love this season for all the festive parties and chic layering. This month, the POPSUGAR editors are investing in a gorgeous winter jacket, a smart pair of black ankle boots, some snuggly knits, and a few fun accessories.
A pair of black ankle boots is the official shoe of Winter. Our team is loving a classic low-heel Chelsea boot, a pair of chunky lace-up biker boots, and a polished pair of high heel patent stompers.
In the spirit of keeping warm while looking cool, we're eyeing a faux leather, shearling-lined biker jacket, and a pretty pink puff-sleeve shacket. To complete our cosy layered looks, cardigans and jumpers are also high on our list – especially in a slouchy, easy-to-tuck-into-your-trousers kind of look. And just because it's Winter, doesn't mean we're forgetting to accessorise. Team PS is keeping our look interesting with an edgy '90s inspired shoulder bag, a pair of pink marbled sunglasses, and leather gloves that are touch-screen compatible – genius.

"This is the third year in a row that Zara's brought back this Zara Double-Faced Biker Jacket (£96) and it sells out every time. I know because last year I wanted to buy it and waited too long until it was sold out both in-store and online. This year, I wasn't taking any chances and snapped it up the minute I saw it in the window on Oxford Street. I basically live in my (faux) leather motorcycle jacket for most of the year, so having a Winter-friendly version of that basically means it works with nearly every piece of clothing and accessory I already own." – SP

"I swore off cardigans after owning so many bad ones in high school and university — when everyone would wear them over their spaghetti-strap tank top – and it's a look I don't care to revisit. That being said, I love the idea of tucking a buttoned-up cardigan into high-waisted jeans — as you would a blouse — and I'm obsessed with the detailing and delicate quality of this Sézane Garance Jumper (£90).
