All Our November Must Haves Are Under $200 — Yup, Even the Cashmere

01/11/2019 - 01:20 PM

Although we do splurge on quality fashion items [1] that we trust we'll wear for many years to come, it's always nice to shop sensibly, limiting ourselves to a specific price point. This way, we feel better about picking up multiple items, and naturally we'll have even more outfits to wear [2], isn't that great? For the month of November, we're not shopping a single item over $200 [3] (the holidays lie ahead [4], as does gift giving)! We rounded up shoes, must-have tees, belts, and beanies that we're collecting for the end of Fall and Winter months to come.

My personal favourite pick is these Charles & Keith pumps that ring in under $50 and come to a point with a square-shaped, low heel. But if you're all about height and love to stand out, Shop and Fashion director Hannah included a pair of marigold Zara boots that will look unbelievable with your dark denim. In the casual department, we've got muscle tees and live-in cropped sweaters, but editor in chief Lisa upped the ante with a $90 (yes, $90) Everlane cashmere shirt. How's that for sweater dressing [5]? Read ahead for the full lineup of products we're into and find out why they're essentials. The fair price is just a bonus.

Everlane The Cashmere Tee

"I am a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl, but in the cooler months I need to have warmer threads, and this Everlane Cashmere Tee [7] ($90) is perfect until I need to go even cozier. I will have this in multiple shades and make it my uniform." — Lisa Sugar, POPSUGAR editor in chief

Ann Taylor Faux Leather Trench Coat

"I'm leaping into the leather trend big time this Fall, so stocking up on affordable pieces like this Ann Taylor Faux Leather Trench Coat [8] ($198) is my strategy for nailing a range of looks. You won't believe how buttery soft this one is!" — Laura Lajiness, senior editor, Fashion

Tiary Chain Letter Pavé Necklace-Trio

"I recently discovered Tiary and love how you can customise every detail of its jewellery. I put my three children's initials on the Tiary Chain Letter Pavé Necklace-Trio [9] ($198), and it's so light and delicate, I wear it every day." — Dana Avidan Cohn, executive style director

Comme des Garçons Play Off-White Converse Edition Half Heart Chucks

Frankie Shop Padded Shoulder Muscle T-Shirt in White

"This Frankie Shop Muscle T-Shirt [11] ($75) practically went viral with all my favourite industry insiders, and I quickly popped over to purchase my own. It's a fresh twist on the white t-shirt — and while I know it's sweater weather, this tee will make quite a statement once you peel off your layers inside. It goes with everything, but just brings a little something extra to the table." — Hannah Weil McKinley, director, Fashion and Shop

Wolford Sea Sparkle Socks

"Giving your Winter wardrobe an update is as easy as adding metallic socks like these Wolford Sea Sparkle Socks [12] ($33) to peek out of your open-toed sandals or even to pair with your favourite sneakers. They'll make everything look undoubtedly fresh." — HWM

currated. Aya Top, Lobster

"I love delighting in a good lobster meal, and my favourite part about this currated. Aya going out top [16] ($190) is that the silhouette mimics a classic lobster bib. I'll just have to watch my butter fingers since, ya know, the material is 100 percent silk." — Sarah Wasilak, editor, Fashion

& Other Stories Ruched Leopard Maxi Dress

"My perfect Fall dress is one that can go from the office to holiday parties (or even Thanksgiving dinner) with ease. It can be styled with boots, flats, heels, tights, and sweaters layered over — and this & Other Stories Ruched Leopard Maxi Dress [17] ($119) is it." — HWM

BDG Jacques Corduroy Jogger Pant

"Hello, perfect pants for Thanksgiving Day! These BDG Jacques Corduroy Joggers [21] ($59) look comfy and roomy enough to accommodate all the stuffing and gravy I intend on inhaling, but the material gives them a fancier edge that's appropriate for the holiday." — Victoria Messina, associate editor, Trending and Viral Features

I.AM.GIA Nikole Pant

"It's about time I hopped on the leather pants bandwagon [24], and I'm starting with the I.AM.GIA Nikole Pant [25] ($75), which would also look great with a chunky knit." — SW

Reformation Mccoy Denim Jacket

"I have three (yes, three) different blue denim jackets in my closet, so it's about time I add a darker option to my rotation. This Reformation Mccoy Denim Jacket [26] ($128) has a relaxed, boxy fit, which means I can layer both t-shirts and sweaters under it this Fall, depending on what temperature Mother Nature decides to serve up." — VM
