If three's a trend, feathered bags are set to be the next big thing. Spotted on the 2020 BRIT Awards red carpet in the hands of TV presenter Laura Whitmore, model Adwoa Aboah, and former Pussycat Dolls member Ashley Roberts, we can only predict that fashion insiders are fighting over them already.

The bag all three were carrying on the red carpet was from up-and-coming accessories brand L'alingi, designed by Alia Zaki Ali, who grew up in both the US and Beirut — where she studied graphic design — before getting married and moving to London. In addition to her website, you can also purchase select handbag styles exclusively at Selfridges.

The satin, feathered purses seen on the BRIT Awards red carpet are finished with a rounded handle, complete with Swarovski stones and tiny claw clips, like the ones we wore in our hair in the '90s and early 2000s. For the BRITs, Laura and Adwoa opted for the black feathered pouch, while Ashley complemented her sparkling, neutral two-piece ensemble with the white option that the designer announced is coming soon in an Instagram post the next morning.

Though this particular £330 bag is currently sold out, you can expect to start seeing these ostrich-style bags all over the high street in London very soon.
