"We are very much trying to push the message that the baguette is no longer an evening bag to be worn tucked under your arm, but it's more modern now and can be worn crossbody," Fendi's senior PR manager told me.

While I am very much of the Carrie camp and love the old-school aesthetic — Carrie wore the above woven baguette with her evening dress at a Sex and the City screening in 2000 — I think all Fendi baguettes are gorgeous.
