Florence Pugh proved that opposites attract in the world of fashion — literally in the case of the fabric for her latest outfit. Stepping out in New York while promoting her upcoming Netflix film, "The Wonder [1]", the actor wore a cropped blazer and matching micro mini skirt by Havre Studio. The co-ord was divided down the middle to create a two-tone effect with half of the suit in black fabric and the other half in cream, with opposing buttons for extra detail. Showing a sliver of her torso, it's giving us '60s Mod vibes.
To complete the contrasting look, Pugh expertly teamed the mini skirt with knee-high boots, but she wasn't about to ruin the half-and-half look with footwear. Instead, she opted for one black boot and one cream boot, of the same style, to finish the ensemble. And the result is . . . chef's kiss.
The Copenhagen-based brand specialises in upcycling and repurposing vintage pieces so it's likely Pugh's outfit looked completely different before it got the Havre Studio treatment. She teamed the look with a Gucci bag and Maria Tash jewellery while keeping her blonde bob in tousled waves and adding black eyeliner and peach lips.
Pugh has worn a string of show-stopping outfits this year as she's works with longtime stylist, Rebecca Corbin Murray. From a totally sheer skirt at Paris Fashion Week [2] to that see-through Barbiecore look at the Valentino Haute Couture show [3], she's become our standout style icon for 2022. Plus, there was the dramatic Valentino gown she wore on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival [4] for the premiere of "Don't Worry Darling [5]", which was later shrouded in controversy thanks to spit-gate.
As Pugh's style and acting continues to wow us, she has hinted that an album could be on the way as she sets her sights on the music industry [6], as well. And if this latest outfit is anything to go by, nothing is off limits. Whether it's a stint in music or mismatched boots, we have a feeling there is nothing Pugh can't pull off.
