Florence Pugh's Sequin Micro Minidress Is Accentuated by 6-Inch Platforms

Florence Pugh Sequin Valentino Minidress at BAFTA Afterparty

Florence Pugh's BAFTA looks just kept on coming. While the actor stunned in a bright-red custom Nina Ricci tiered tulle confection for the main event, it was her dazzling afterparty look that brought the heat. Her sequinned Valentino minidress was early-aughts inspired, teamed with Tiffany & Co. diamond jewellery and equally-as-eye-catching metallic platforms, a new finish on the iconic Valentino Garavani Tan-Go shoe. Pugh's look was one that would make Cher Horowitz proud, crafted of a pink sequinned bodice with crystal-adorned spaghetti straps. The micro silhouette made for a leggy moment, which was played up by the aforementioned heels, and she further accessorised with a diamond choker necklace, coordinated line bracelets on her left wrist, and earrings that crawled up her ear — all on full display due to her decades-approved updo.

Pugh is building quite the partnership with the Italian fashion house, having not only worn Valentino for the current cover of Vanity Fair, but also to the premiere of "The Wonder" last autumn; the label's runway show at Fashion Week in October; and The Fashion Awards afterparty in December.

While this particular dress wasn't sheer, it was, in fact, a skin-revealing design that brings to light the 27-year-old star's applause-worthy statements about body shaming and how she handles criticism. Recently, she shared with Vogue, "I've never been scared of what's underneath the fabric. If I'm happy in it, then I'm gonna wear it," continuing, "Of course, I don't want to offend people, but I think my point is: How can my nipples offend you that much?"

Currently styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, she's embraced other early-2000s trends, like her bright red peplum at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards at the beginning of the month, as well as her harlequin sequinned corset and high-waisted skirt for the opening of London Fashion Week's Harris Reed show.

Ahead, see Pugh's not-yet-available Valentino dress and heels from all angles, then check out the other stars who pulled out all the stops with their afterparty wardrobes at the BAFTAs, including Simone Ashley in Alexandre Vauthier, Anya Taylor-Joy in Jean Paul Gaultier, and Lily Allen in Giambattista Valli.
