Gap is showing up for Black History Month in the UK. Following the brand's commitment to "equality, inclusivity, and dignity for all" in June, Gap partnered with independent Black artists to design a collection of t-shirts in celebration of the UK's Black history.

Gap collaborated with four Black artists from the UK, France, and the US for this exclusive collection — including Melissa Hurst from London, Lo Williams from Birmingham, Mario Hounkanrin from Paris, and Stephennie Factor from the US. The four-piece collection includes uniquely designed unisex t-shirts that show what Black history means to each artist and is priced at £19 per item.

In addition to launching the collection, Gap is also investing £10,000 into the CNBA foundation (the Carl Nathaniel Beatson-Asiedu foundation), which creates media and arts opportunities for Black and minority ethnic young people aged 13 to 27 by offering rehabilitation, mentorship, education, and scholarships. Gap is also partnering with The Reach Out Project throughout October by installing till donation points in its stories. The Reach Out Project, founded by friends Lillian and Michaela, helps to create social and cultural opportunities for young Black people living in inner-city London by inspiring them to expand their personal and professional goals.

Gap's Black History Month t-shirt collection is available to shop in store and online at Gap.co.uk.
