The singer and lead of the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid [3] pulled up to the award show wearing a brown velvet LaQuan Smith dress from the designer's SS21 collection, and she left jaws on the floor. Styled by Nikki Cortez [4], the long-sleeve dress featured hip cutouts and a thigh-high slit. She paired the dress with matching lace-up Stuart Weitzman heels and Candy Ice gum drop earrings [5].
Halle sat proudly during the show as she watched her sister Chlöe perform her hit song "Have Mercy" for her first solo performance at the AMAs.
