It seems we aren't the only ones missing fabulous red carpet fashion moments. Awards show aficionado Halle Berry [3] is so eager to get back on the red carpet that she had to create her own fashion moment right in her garden, wearing a black two-piece design from Christian Siriano's pre-autumn collection.
"Looking for a red carpet moment ✨ (This beauty was designed by @csiriano)", Berry wrote on Instagram [4] under a photo gallery of herself striking a series a dramatic poses in her home and garden. Berry is the first to wear a design from Christian Siriano's pre-autumn collection that is made from completely recycled materials. The stunning creation features a black floor-length full tulle skirt and a matching, sheer cropped top embellished with 3D black and white monarch butterflies.
While Siriano's design is exceptionally unique, we couldn't help but think of a similar sheer fashion moment that Berry flaunted with confidence. Berry's crimson Elie Saab gown at the 2002 Academy Awards [5] is one of her most memorable red carpet moments of all time. Similarly to Siriano's creation, the Saab gown featured a full floor-length skirt and a sheer bodice with thoughtfully placed flower embroidery — and we're betting that was a major influence behind her at-home red carpet look.
