Although Harry Styles's original Love on Tour dates [1] included US shows in 2020, the singer rescheduled his performances due to the pandemic. What wasn't rescheduled? The inevitable collaboration with Gucci's Alessandro Michele on Harry's costumes. Styles has been a longtime friend and muse to the designer [2] for years, so it's no surprise that his team customised a few incredible outfits.
The first comes with a metallic, fringe vest in a jewel-tone pink, which is finished in a satin, magenta interior to match the flared trousers. Harry channelled the late '70s [3] in these co-ords, accessorising the look with a fistful of chunky rings [4] and nude, patent heeled boots [5], which were also courtesy of the Milan-based fashion house.
"Excited to show what we were going to do in 2020 and some additional fun new looks❤️❤️❤️," stylist Harry Lambert [6] wrote on Instagram, reassuring us that, yes, there is plenty more to come. We may not be treated to a shirtless [7] Styles belting out "Watermelon Sugar" [8] with every single ensemble, but at least we can brush up on the meaning behind his many tattoos [9] in preparation just in case we are. We certainly won't be complaining about any additional skin-baring action. Click through to see Harry's first Gucci moment from all angles and watch this space for what's next from his wardrobe.
