Case in point: this incredible DIY foam stamp hack to give new life to your old jeans. If you're ready to get a bit crafty and create a pair of one-of-a-kind jeans, here's everything you need to know to do it yourself.
For this DIY, you first need a pair of jeans, like old ones you no longer use, or even a pair that you got at a thrift shop like the creator of this hack, TikTok user, @heethbeeth. Next, print out the design you want to stamp on your jeans. It can truly be anything (flowers, butterflies, aliens, pretzels... you do you), so now's the time to get creative.
Buy some squishy craft foam and use the print-out design as a stencil, cutting through with an X-Acto knife (or any other craft knife) to cut out the shape of your design on the foam. Now, simply hot glue your foam design to a wooden block to make the perfect stamp. Paint your stamp with a mix of acrylic paint and textile medium, and begin to stamp all over your jeans, however you want. You can really stamp any kind of clothing (the backs of jean jackets are another great choice!) so let your mind run free and have fun!
