Jennifer Lopez [1] has done it again. This time, she brought her timeless glow to the 11th annual Governors Awards gala red carpet at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre wearing a regal yellow gown with a black clutch, bronzed, barely there makeup and a braided updo — she looked radiant.
This has certainly been J Lo's year for absolutely slaying the red carpet [2], with every single one of her looks wowing us a bit more [3] than the last. For the Governors Awards gala, Lopez looked like the most luxe Christmas gift we could wish for. Her yellow, strapless gown was from Reem Acra's Spring/Summer 2020 'Paradise' collection, and it reminded us of a very posh sheet of golden wrapping paper — featuring a festive yellow oversize bow in the back. She kept the look superminimal by accessorising the gown with a black-and-gold Tyler Ellis 'Perry' clutch and gorgeous Harry Winston diamond jewellery. As for her beauty look, Lopez went with her signature bronzed neutral aesthetic [4] and an elegant braided updo to match.
