In a red carpet interview with E!, Kaitlyn said she was supporting the Red Carpet Green Dress initiative, which encourages both celebrities and brands to opt for more sustainable designs. "Supporting sustainable clothing is really important," Kaitlyn said. She also encouraged viewers to shop vintage, adding, "With fashion, I think you can think a little bit before buying something new." As for aesthetics, the Swarovski-crystal beaded gown features a sweetheart neckline and satin shawl, which Kaitlyn paired with a diamond necklace and earrings.
