Kate Middleton is back with another effortless style moment [1]. While honouring World Mental Health Day on Oct. 12, Middleton and husband Prince William visited SportsAid at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, to participate in a series of mental fitness workshops organised by the charity. For the charitable occasion, the Princess of Wales showed her sporty side with a white top, Mother Denim skinny jeans, and a now-sold-out royal-blue blazer from Zara. She completed the outfit with her longtime-favourite white Veja sneakers. The prince also got the blue memo, wearing a navy sweater over a collared shirt with matching trousers and dark-green sneakers.
The former Duchess of Cambridge's latest look is a soft departure from her classy, elegant wardrobe in which she successfully pays homage to her late mother-in-law [2], Princess Diana [3]. Most recently, she wore a green blazer with a white lapel for Wimbledon 2023 [4], reminiscent of Diana's blazer for Trooping the Colour in 1988. The 41-year-old also infamously wore a blue-and-white polka-dot Jenny Packham dress after giving birth to Prince George [5], much like Princess Diana's appearance in a green-and-white Catherine Walker piece with William 21 years earlier. Similarly, Middleton honoured her at this year's Trooping the Colour [6] in an Andrew Gn green suit with a Philip Treacy hat, accessorising with Princess Diana's famed sapphire-and-diamond earrings [7].
Middleton is making her own sartorial mark as well, often incorporating a healthy mix of luxury and accessible pieces in her outfits. She recently introduced the perfect fall uniform, including a pair of grey Sézane trousers [8], retailing at only $170. She then nailed the Barbiecore trend [9] in an Alexander McQueen bubblegum-pink suit during a May visit to London's Foundling Museum.
