Katy Perry [1]'s latest music video [2] confirmed two things: she's pregnant [3], and she's seen Midsommar. In the ethereal video for "Never Worn White," an apparent ode to her fiancé, Orlando Bloom [4], the singer wears an explosion of colourful flowers not unlike the ceremonial garb [5] Dani Ardor (Florence Pugh) wears after — spoiler alert! — being crowned the May Queen.
The head-to-toe equivalent of a flower crown was created by botanical artist Kristen Alpaugh [6] of FLWR PSTL. In addition to the cascading dress resembling a small mountain, Kristen also fashioned a bulbous headpiece for Katy to wear in the video as well as the single's cover art [7]. For a more demure look, Katy also wore a white Alexis Mabille dress featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline almost resembling wings. It's in this dress that Katy acknowledges her pregnancy by cradling her baby bump.
Watch the news-making music video ahead before taking a closer look at what we're dubbing her Midsommar maternity style.
