As one of the first people on the MTV VMAs red carpet [1], Lil Nas X immediately had heads turning. The 22-year-old rapper showed up to the big event at the Barclays Centre wearing a stunning lilac pantsuit with a matching train that draped with every step he took. The off-the-shoulder jacket is covered with shining embellishments that are also featured throughout the leg of his pants. We cannot talk about this outfit without discussing the square toe boots he is rocking in the exact same lilac colour. Obsessed! "I'm happy, I look good," he said during the VMAs pre-show, and we couldn't agree more.
It's a big night for Lil Nas X as he gears up for the release of his album Montero [2] on Sept. 17. Not only is he performing his hit single [3] "Industry Baby" with Jack Harlow, but he is nominated for five awards tonight. "This is going to be one to remember," he said.
