Don't Worry, Lizzie McGuire Is Just as Stylish as Ever in the Reboot

Any Disney Channel fan can agree, Lizzie McGuire was a style icon in the early 2000s. Even though Hilary Duff's iconic character was known for being shy and clumsy, her outfits were always flashy and trendy. From her mismatched prints to her tie-dye shirts, we all wished we could steal her closet. And don't even get us started on her accessories and iconic hairstyles! (Let's be real, I definitely got bangs because she had them).

Thankfully, we'll be getting plenty more style inspiration with the upcoming Lizzie McGuire reboot. The Disney+ series doesn't have an official release date yet, but we've already gotten a few glimpses of Lizzie's outfits on set. Though Lizzie's clothes are much more cosmopolitan and grown-up as she takes on NYC as a 30-year-old millennial, she's still taking fashion risks with bright colours, statement necklaces, and, yes, fun hairstyles. While filming in LA, Hilary was spotted wearing a blue romper paired with snakeskin half-boots and a white over-the-shoulder bag. She accessorised her look with beads in her hair and an "L" necklace for Lizzie.

While on set for the show, Hilary posted an Instagram Story of her wearing a sheer green shirt with an "L" necklace and matching green eye shadow.
