Swedish-English singer Mabel [1] confirmed her It girl status at the 2021 Love Island [2] villa by wearing a sultry Mugler [3] catsuit during her special performance. Following her win for Best Female Solo Artist at the 2020 BRIT Awards [4], it's only fitting that the High Expectations singer wore the most sought-after designer of the summer for her Love Island debut.

It's no secret that Mugler's fetishistic designs are in the midst of a renaissance. It all started when Cardi B wore the iconic Oyster dress from the brand's autumn/winter 1995 collection to the 2019 Grammys [5], and then Kim Kardashian [6] wore an archival Mugler wet-look dress to the 2019 Met Gala [7] a few months later.

The illusion catsuit worn by Mabel on Love Island looks to be from Mugler's spring/summer 2021 collection [8] designed by Casey Cadwallader.
