Maya Jama Serves Last "Love Island" Look in Sequin Bralette Minidress For The Reunion

07/08/2023 - 10:50 AM

While Jess and Sammy might have been crowned the [1] "Love Island" 2023 winners, we all know the real victor of the series: Maya Jama's wardrobe. The TV presenter, who took over from Laura Whitmore [2] after the 2022 season ended, wowed viewers for a final time with her show-stopping look on "The Reunion" after a whole series of gorgeous outfits that had viewers frantically Googling where to purchase the pieces. The star dazzled in a sequin bralette mini dress by CULT MIA, which she teamed with sheer black tights.

Working with stylist Rhea Francois [3] throughout the series, Jama welcomed the brand new batch of Islanders [4] on 5 June in not one, not two, but three lust-worthy looks. Extreme cutouts were the trend as she chose crochet, mesh, and knots to wow viewers. And she didn't let standards slip for the rest of the season, culminating in a stunning black lace bustier gown for the live finale on 31 July.

While Jama is currently single [5], she has been praised for her down-to-earth nature while helping the Islanders find their match. Away from the show, she's adopted the Barbiecore trend in Thailand in a pink bikini [6], become a brand ambassador for Rimmel [7], and rocked a sheer bridal gown in Cannes [8]. So Jama's wardrobe firmly has a place on our Pinterest boards.

Take a look back over where to shop Jama's "Love Island" outfits this summer, as well as some affordable options to recreate her looks.

See All of Maya Jama Winter "Love Island" Outfits Ahead...

A compilation of Jama's jaw-dropping "Love Island" outfits, you ask? Well the "Love Island" host provided the goods with a TikTok video posted just before the final. And what a series it's been. Serving up look after look, we want Jama's wardrobe and we want it now.

For the final, Jama wore a bespoke wet-look dress by Di Petsa, complete with cutout sections of course. She teamed the fitted gown with wet-look waves in her hair and added strappy sandals for an outfit that wrapped the season in true epic style.

For the final "Aftersun" before heading to South Africa for final weekend, Jama opted for a white cutout midi dress by Alexander McQueen. She scooped her hair into a bun, pulling out two front sections for the ultimate '90s vibe. Gold statement earrings added a little glamour to the minimal look while simple metallic strappy heels kept it classy.

For the "Aftersun" episode that aired on 26 Feb., Jama looked sensatinal in a see-through printed mesh dress by Macimilian Raynor. While her black bralette and briefs were just about visible underneath the blue, red, and white print, she teamed her long-sleeved fitted dress with lime stappy heels for a pop of colour. Her hair was left wavy and a metallic eyeshadow was added to bring the whole look together.

While the dress technically is no longer available, the fashion designer revealed on Instagram [45] that, due to popular demand, they are doing a limited run of the style so keep you eyes peeled.

Jama went hell for (faux) leather during the post-Casa episode of "Aftersun" on Sunday, 19 Feb. Wearing a matching black faux leather co-ord, she looked every inch the bombshell. The seamed halterneck top had a cutout at the chest, and was paired with extreme flared trousers that had seventies jumpsuit vibes. She kept her hair down and tousled and added statement gold earrings to finish the knockout look.

For the Casa Amor recoupling, Jama pulled out all the stops for the occasion. Wearing a red satin cutout body suit by LaQuan Smith (the second time she's worn the designer during the series) with a matching red maxi skirt with thigh-high slit, the presenter certainly turned heads. The bodysuit itself included an asymmetric sleeve, multiple cutout sections, and a backless tie, which was teamed with velvet wrap skirt. She added scultpural heels and sported a half-up hairdo with simple gold hoops.

Less than 24 hours after Jama hosted her 2023 Brits afterparty [46], she was back on our screens hosting "Aftersun" and looking much fresher than we would have in her shoes. For the occassion on 12 Feb. Jama opted for a ice grey maxi dress from Amy Shehab. The dress itself was worn off the shoulder with side cutouts and lace detail, and included some statement flared sleeves. Jama also debuted a new clip-in fringe for the evening, which she comically named Trisha on TikTok, and kept her hair long and straight.

Bringing a whole new literal meaning to the naked dress, Jama oozed sex appeal as she re-entered the villa to surprise the Islanders with a double dumping. Wearing a custom-made maxi dress by Spanish brand Syndical Chamber, Jama's halterneck dress featured a printed naked body with 3D crease effect. She swept her hair back into a low ponytail that with a side parting that was then given extra volume with full curls. Jama finished the look with matching orange-toned smokey eyes and gloss lips for a look that was, quite simply, fire.

For the second "Aftersun" show of the series, Jama delved into the fashion archives for a vintage Dolce & Gabbana number. From the spring/summer 2003 collection, the dress corseted satin dress includes eyelets and lace-up details for some added sex appeal. She added plack multi-strap heeled sandals, kept her hair subtly waved, and added a sweep of lipgloss to give the look the perfect finish.

For her first live "Aftersun" show, Jama opted for yet another cutout number. The pink knitted dress was held together with a circular clasp and was from independent label, Hanifa. With her hair left straight and makeup including that signature eyeliner flick, Jama ensured the fuchsia is looking bright for the rest of the series.

Why have two outfit changes when you can have three? Before announcing there would be a new bombshell arrival in episode 1, Jama changed into a seriously sexy black cutout dress from Monot, the brand she previously wore at the Brits 2022. The halterneck dress, by Monot, features a hip-high split and string cutouts at the chest. With a half-up hairdo and simple hoop earrings, it was the perfect choice to end the episode. It might have been windy out in South Africa, but Jama's outfit blew us away.

Also in episode one, Jama chooses a red hot crochet look from Crolage to exit the helicopter. Pairing the bra top and mini skirt with a vampish red lip, it was certainly one way to make a lasting impression!

During the launch episode, Jama joined the winter "Love Island" 2023 cast [47] to get the flirting started, and her entrance outfits did not disappoint. Wearing a plunging tie-dye printed maxi dress with ruffles at the hem and a studded halterneck, her outfit was perfectly pitched for the occasion. Sexy, yet sophisticated, the Roberto Cavalli dress is from the resort 2023 collection, so not currently available to buy. Her hair was kept down with soft waves as she sported winged eyeliner and a nude lip setting the tone for the highly anticipated series.
