Meghan Markle put a new spin on one of her most memorable outfits on Friday, when she slipped into a chic leather pencil skirt and a matching top to attend a roundtable discussion on gender equality at Windsor Castle. The cranberry-coloured ensemble, which she finished with coordinating suede shoes, instantly made us think of a similar look she sported just over a year ago, when she teamed a green leather pencil skirt with a matching blouse for a visit to West Sussex. It turns out this is the exact same Hugo Boss skirt in a new colour, proving Meghan definitely knows what works for her. The duchess has a knack for choosing just the right monochrome separates for a sleek, modern look, and now she's proven she can do it in just about any Autumnal colour.
But she's not the only royal who's recognised the impact this skirt makes. In fact, Queen Letizia of Spain wore it just yesterday, teaming her version with a white blouse with lace inserts on the sleeves. Meghan, meanwhile, opted for a delicate knit sweater with a v-neck to top her skirt. Finishing the look with minimal jewellery and a soft updo, she looked relaxed and elegant as she and Prince Harry made their way inside the venue.
