Our passion for Meghan Markle's wardrobe shows no signs of abating, and new data shows the duchess holds serious power when it comes to affecting our shopping habits. In its 2019 review, shopping search engine Lyst describes the Duchess of Sussex as the most powerful dresser of the year, citing some pretty impressive statistics.

Not only can Meghan make an item sell out within hours of her being photographed wearing it, but she can also double the searches for a certain brand if she's shown to favour it. But what's really impressive is how she can influence entire trends. The shirt dress, an undeniable classic but not exactly a high fashion piece, has enjoyed a huge renaissance thanks to Meghan's passion for the style. After Meghan sported not one but five different button-down, belted dresses during the royal tour of southern Africa, searches for the style increased by a whopping 45%. Some of the pieces she wore, like a blue Veronica Beard shirt dress and a three quarter length Nonie belted trench dress, were repeat outfits from years gone by, but Meghan also added a whole host of other shirt dresses and trench dresses to her arsenal for the trip, creating a new signature look in the process. It soon became a look we all wanted to copy, with the duchess showing us just how versatile and flattering the silhouette is. Keep reading to take a look at her stash of styles, from a double-breasted Banana Republic number to a floaty button-down maxi dress.
