Michelle Obama is a fan of one of the biggest trends of 2020: tie-dye. This week, the former first lady teamed up with PBS Kids and Penguin Random House for a read-along. She read a chapter from Miss Maple's Seeds, which is written and illustrated by Eliza Wheeler. In the video, which was posted on her Instagram, Michelle wore a cool tie-dye cable-knit sweater. The long-sleeved sweater from Polo Ralph Lauren is currently marked down to $118 from its original price. We love that Michelle chose the groovy print for the video because of its nostalgic feel.

Michelle's laid-back sweater can be easily dressed up with a slip skirt and heels or dressed down with a pair of distressed jeans and boots. This also isn't the first time Michelle has worn the colourful print. While she was in office in 2015, Michelle opted for a fun long-sleeved tee by Proenza Schouler with the psychedelic print while greeting trick-or-treaters on the White House lawn with Barack Obama. Keep reading to take a look at the video of Michelle's reading, then shop her exact sweater and similar picks if you're in the market for tie-dye sweaters.
