MOBO Awards 2021: The Best-Dressed Celebrities of the Night

On 5 Dec., the MOBO Music Awards [1] returned in 2021 with a live ceremony held at the Coventry Building Society Arena and hosted by Leigh-Anne Pinnock and comedians Munya Chawawa [2] and Eddie Kadi. Broadcast on the MOBO Awards YouTube channel, the MOBO Awards celebrate the achievement in music of Black origin, within the genres of hip hop, grime, RnB/soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and Afrobeat.

Like any good award show, the nominees and guests took the opportunity to show off their style, and the fashion on the red carpet certainly didn't disappoint. Little Simz — who was up for best female act, best hip-hop act, and video of the year — arrived in a black lace top and oversize black suit, whilst Bree Runway [3] — who was nominated for best female act — arrived in a floor-length fur coat over an all-black ensemble.

We also saw more colourful outfits, including from Pinnock, who chose a pale yellow dress for the red carpet; Kaz Kamwi [4], who wore a stunning sapphire blue gown for the occasion; and singer-songwriter Tiana Major9 (another best female act nominee) who went with an embroidered green top and green trousers.
