The MTV Video Music Awards red carpet has officially kicked off from the Barclays Center in New York, and we expect stars to up the ante when it comes to fashion. As events slowly start to pick up and stylists are able to hook up their clients with pieces straight off the runway, there's no better time for an award show. You can expect glamour from the likes of Billy Porter, Chloe x Halle, Simone Biles, Tinashe, Kacey Musgraves, and Hailey Bieber, all of whom have impressed with their outfits over the course of the summer, and later, outfit changes from performers that include Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Kacey Musgraves, and Normani.
