One of our favourite things about Nike's Jordan brand is that it truly is for everyone. Sure, there are some limited-edition collections that can be challenging to get your hands on (Dior's designer collab [1] and J Balvin's tie-dye Retro Highs [2] come to mind). But at the end of the day, we rock our high-tops just as regularly as most celebs do, so any outfit they wear that revolves around their Jordans becomes instant inspo.
Take Billie Eilish's American Music Awards performance look [3], for example. She sported NBA star Russell Westbrook's famous Converse x Jordan sneaker collab — because why not? — with one of her signature oversize graphic cardigans [4]. This past summer, DJ and director Vashtie also got married [5] in her all-white Air Force 1s, and she's part of the Jordan fam, too, rotating between both Nike styles regularly. DJ Khaled became a first-time Grammy winner in 2020 [6], also in his crisp red-and-black Jordans, and he was sure to make note of his footwear choice on Instagram.
While you might not be able to shop most of these iconic shoes at this point, it's worth noting that, if nothing else, this year did bring us some pretty cool sneaker moments, and that's something to celebrate. Jennifer Lopez's Air Jordans
J Lo got her hands on J Balvin's Air Jordan Retro Highs [10] early this holiday season, styling them with a full Frankies Bikinis sweatsuit in early December.
Travis Scott's Air Jordans
Travis Scott debuted his Dior Jordans on the red carpet [11] when the designer collab was first announced. He posted this pic to his feed in July.
DJ Khaled's Air Jordans
DJ Khaled was a first-time Grammy winner this year [12] in his black-and-red Air Jordan '85s.
Saweetie's Air Jordans
Saweetie, who actually released her cover art for her single "Tap In" in Jordan AJIs, stayed on her Jordan game in this neutral pair, coordinated with an orange sweat set and purple Birkin bag.
Briana King's Air Jordans
American skateboarder, model, and actress Briana King wore her Jordans in Brooklyn, coordinating them with the perfect autumnal-toned fuzzy sweater in November.
Vashtie's Air Jordans
American DJ, artist, and director Vashtie famously wore all-white Nikes to her City Hall wedding [13], right around the time she showed off these Jordans that she designed herself.
Russell Westbrook's Air Jordans
NBA player Russell Westbrook, who came out with his own Jordan collab in 2020 (worn by Billie Eilish [14] for her AMAs performance), showed off a pair of neon Jordans with an all-white outfit in April.
